(Analysis)
Finally I could finish the book. I even watched the film. The story was pretty good. There were many different stories that finally connect to eachother. Author has done a great job. It was one of the books that impressed me. Author's language was fluent. The book was about the teenagers' lifes. That's the why I like it. Everyone had a nickname like in real life. For example we call our friends as "Zenco" or "Bilo". There were some themes that author concentrated on.
Destiny was one of the important themes. I think the main thing that author trying to say is about destiny. The story is mostly around Stanley, Hector and their families.
One of the funniest thing is the Girl Scout Camp. Mr. Sir told the boys that they weren't in a Girl Scout Camp. But in the end Camp Green Lake becomes to Girl Scout Camp.
My favourite part is Hector and Stanley's climbing to the mountain. I was so excited and I frequently thought "What is going to happen now?".
And I actually got pleasure when the Warden startled. I really didn't like her.
I think I'm going to read this awesome book again.

"I can fix that"
(DEVELOPMENT/ PREDICTION)
Sam was a very friendly black man that sold sweet onions. They said that his onions were something like "holy".Who eats or uses his onions could solve his/her problem. For example the hunters were using his onions to protect themselves against the yellow spotted lizards. Like every young boy he felt in love with a girl. But the problem was his race. He was a black guy and Kate Barlow was a pretty white woman. There was no way that they could be together. Finally because of his love Sam gets murdered. And Kate becomes one of the most wanted outlaws. What if Sam didn't get shot and they could run away from Green Lake. I think it would be great. First of all the Green Lake would be still a lake and stanleys grand grand father wouldn't be robbed by Kissin' Kate Barlow. Maybe Kate and Sam would have a child that only eats onions and peaches. But if the story wouldn't be the same the Yelnats family would be cursed forever. Maybe Sam "could fix that".

"Destiny's Children"
(Character Analysis)
Stanley Yelnats is the main character of the book. That's the why i choose him and his partner of destiny. As I first started to read the book I didn't like Zero. Everyone was joking about him even Mr. Pendanski. I thought that he was an idiot. Then Stanley started to teach him how to write&read. And I understood that Zero wasn't actually just a "Zero". He is a smart boy that never talks when it's not necessary. Against Stanley's big body Hector (Zero) is a little black boy. In the film he was really sweet. They know eachother first in Camp Green Lake. But their great-great-great-grand...-parents has a relationship. Stanley's great-great-grand-father makes a deal with Hector's grandgrandgrand Mother (I got tired of writing great -.-). But he forgot the deal and he and his family have been cursed until Hector and Stanleys adventure.

Holes in the "Lake"!?
(First Impressions)
When I heard that we had to read a book I thought that it was one of the boring obligatory books. But then I read some pages and I actually got impressed by the book. As long as I read it the book becomes more and more interesting. And I really like that the book has a very simple language. Ofcourse there are some unknown words but they are written under the pages. The main character of the story is a boy called "Stanley Yelnats" which is a very unlucky boy. He has been arrested and sent to a camp called "Camp Green Lake". Actually there isn't any lake. There was a lake 100 years ago. The boys are forced to dig holes. It should be really hard to dig holes for Stanley's fat body. And as Magnet says "First hole is the hardest."[p. 33]. Now I'm going to read more and tell you more about the book. Follow my "Reading Journal" :).
